About sPage

Q: What is sPage?
A: sPage is basically a website creation script. It takes the best parts of a Wiki, with the best parts of a traditional website and lets anyone create and maintain their own website without having to learn a single line of code

Q: What can I edit with it?
A: ANYTHING! Everything from the text on the page, right down to the presentation code and even the login pages and editor pages can be edited.

Q: How easy is it to edit a page?
A: Dead simple. It just takes 3 clicks to start editing, one click to update. If you can type a document in Microsoft Word, you can edit with sPage, thanks to FCKEditor, a word processor for the internet

Q: Can I have private download pages?
A: Yes! Using the in-built security, you can deny anyone from looking at pages. The security is so fine-grained, you can deny one person from looking at one page. You can even let others add content to your website!

Q: How do I install it?
A: Just upload the files to your website, run install.php and start building your website. It's that easy!

Q: How much is it?
A: 100% Free! It's open-source software too, so you can use it on your website and modify it to suit your needs, for free! We can also install sPage for you for a small fee

Q: What do I need to run it?
A: About 10mb of disk-space, a database (over 30 types of databases are supported!) and PHP

Q: Why use this, and not a wiki?
A: Wikis are tricky to install, plus they require a LOT more setting up over sPage. New features and fixes are hard to install

Q: What else can I do with sPage?
A: Check out the Additional uses for sPage

 sPage Usage

Q: Why does the editor not show my CSS style?
A: It can, but has been disabled because some styles make it hard to read. A hotfix for this is coming soon

Q: How do I change a page's execute status after I've made the page?
A: Simply edit the page in question, then tick the "Execute" box and save the page

Q: Why do I keep getting logged out?
A: This might be because of the way sPage handles your login. If you run some Norton Internet Security products, or have cookies disabled, then you won't stay logged in. Try enabling cookies then logging in again.
